Ulf Andersson nice humble guy, felt honored to be playing against him. Unfortunately I was quite a weak player at that time, did not put up a good fight.
I don't think Fischer would have agreed with Short. He said:
The turning point in my career came with the realization that Black should play to win instead of just steering for equality.
:)
Those were different times. With computers nowadays, trying to win with Black will backfire.
