Recently I have a sudden urge to start a chess set collection . I really do not know why. Of course I owned (and lost) many chess sets in my career ,most of them with some sentimental value.

- older chess sets
- wood or plastic
- unusual sets/those with an interesting history
Types of sets I AM not interested in
- local made sets such as the Shah brand
- glass sets made in China
