I pretty much resolved that I will no longer respond to Mr Siew's postings - unless he starts to malign me again or attacking those things that I care about. One of this was when he said that there was a thrown game by one of the Malaysians in the last olympiad.
Rationality beat me to it here. He pretty much said all I wanted to say - its uncanny how my thoughts and feelings match up with him. I do wondor if he is my Jekyll. Come to think of it, I did go to bed very early last night...

GENTLEMEN!
HOLD YOUR FIRE!
CAN WE AT LEAST HAVE A CEASE FIRE UNTIL MID-NIGHT TONIGHT?
Sometime after the Merdeka Championship last year, a sponsor had attempted to make contact with me on a “mammoth chess undertaking”. Due to some communication hiccup, the first meeting only took place in Oct10 and I follow that up with a feeler into FGM blog playing a “Raymond Siew Gambit” to see if such a colossal chess effort can actually take place in Malaysia (Reason; he who shout loudest tends to take all the wind-rightly or wrongly it affects the image perceived by the sponsor). Typical of Raymond, many of the posting were deleted and I had to resort on playing the “Ninja Gambit” to have a better “feel of the water” before agreeing to undertake such a challenging endeavour.
However, by mid Nov10, instead of 200 “legs” with a payout of RM8K each leg, the event will be tone down to just 100 “legs” giving a total payout of RM800K; still a kingly sum. Ironically, the decision to go ahead with the whole plan rest on today’s final meeting where upon all the fine details will be up for evaluation.
GENTLEMEN! You had chosen the wrong time to intensify your firing and that is not good for sponsorship image; for that matter, CHESS for MALAYSIA!
CAN WE PLEASE HAVE A CEASE FIRE AND HOLD BACK ALL THE POISONS THAT CAN POISON THE CHESS SCENE OF MALAYSIA!
Thanks/Lee
PS: One of the “legs” involves a one-day long boat ride into the interior of Sarawak and has the committed play chess in the midst of ancient head-hunting grounds. Will the evergreen LimKW of Sarawak come out victor and take home the RM8K payout? Or Mok return to his native Sarawak and grab it from him? Or the military trained Peter Long holds the advantage? Raymond, are you brave enough to enter the fray? What about all those Juniors with brave hearts? Or Ninja showing off his mettle among the long lost head hunting tribe and be their hero! Perhaps, Jimmy, our first IM had something too to show off to our friends in the interior of Sarawak. Rationality, is it rational or irrational to stay away?
Siew Fai,
I already said I will keep my peace unless Mr siew starts his poison pen on me. Which he has. Again. Nevertheless I respect you and I will withhold any post for today. For tomorrow :)
Please go to FGM blog relating to slander. You have been notified.
