Youngster Yeoh Li Tian showed why he was the President's choice for the recent Istanbul Olympiad by winning the 2012 Nf6 Masters tournament with a two point margin. Yusof Kamaluddin was 2nd and Ismail Ahmad grabbed the 3rd spot.
Gabriel Bick is the winner of the Juniors which was held along-side the Masters. Former national player Mohd Saprin two young sons Muqqri and Ghaazi took the 2nd and 3rd spot.
